Online training has been such a wonderful option for me. It has allowed me to continue working out 4-5 times a week on my schedule. Things are so off right now that I can for my workout anytime of the day thanks to the equipment CFIV let me borrow, the customized workouts and those amazing live videos. I have a hard time working out alone but having those videos available for a later time when I am not able to make the live ones has been a motivator to work out even if it’s late. And the very best part of all is having Brianna’s ongoing support,answering questions, sending reminders, customizing my workouts and motivating messages on a daily basis. I am so grateful to all the staff at CFIV for the support during this time!!!
Having been a CFIV member since January 2013 as well as having participated in previous CFIV Nutrition Challenges I relied heavily on face-to-face interaction and the group dynamic. With the COVID-19 outbreak, my accountability system and built-in community support felt threatened. I am happy to say that I decided to continue not just with online programming and remote coaching, but with nutrition coaching as well. My nutrition has remained on point due to constant communication with Mallee not just via an application but with consistent virtual check-ins via videoconferencing. We’ve been revisiting and monitoring nutrition goals, had discussions on the effects of nutrition on energy level, mobility, mood, and overall functioning, specifically as these relate to sheltering in place. I am beyond pleased with my results as I have been able to maintain my gains and cannot wait to continue with my progress via online nutrition coaching.
